Meta Team are working to fix the problem.
“We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a post on X social media.
DownDetector, website that tracks internet service outages reported over 3,00,000 Facebook outages and over 47,000 Instagram outage worldwide.
As soon as the social media apps stopped working, users started sharing their experiences on X. X is flooded with memes on this outage.
